Sundance, a lifestyle retailer of apparel, shoes, jewelry and home decor, will celebrate the opening of its new store at Kierland Commons on March 3.

Actor and filmmaker Robert Redford founded the Sundance retail operation in 1989 to promote the works of artists and craftsmen.

“We are thrilled to provide this experience to our loyal customers in the Scottsdale area who have a strong affinity and loyalty towards Sundance,” said Matey Erdos, Sundance CEO. “We are confident our new store will be a great success.”

The opening of the Sundance store at Kierland Commons in Phoenix marks the company’s first of several retail stores to open in 2016.

Sundance opened stores in Edina, Minn., and Dallas in 2015 and plans to continue its growth over the next several years. 

Sundance is based in Salt Lake City, where it has an outlet store. Its other stores are in Corte Madera, Calif., and Park Meadows, Colo.
