In September of 2022, Kevin Todd St. Ledger pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, a class two dangerous felony, and two counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor, class three dangerous felonies. On Tuesday, a Maricopa County Judge sentenced St. Ledger to 20 years in prison to be served in the Arizona Department of Corrections. Upon his release, the defendant will have lifetime probation and be required to register as a sex offender.

In April 2021, St. Ledger was on probation for a previous felony conviction of attempted child molestation. During this probation period, St. Ledger was found to be in possession of child pornography.  He was rearrested and jailed for the subsequent criminal acts. In this criminal case, the court took into account St. Ledger’s previous sex crime conviction as an aggravating factor in the 20-year sentencing.

“This sentence will make our community safer, especially for our children. The harm done to victims of sexual exploitation brings a lifetime of trauma and we must hold those responsible for that trauma accountable,” said County Attorney Rachel Mitchell.
