The Pima County Fair has been postponed to the fall of 2021.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fair has been delayed from its scheduled date of April 15 through 25, fair officials announced Tuesday. This will be the second year that the fair has been postponed due to the virus.

“Not being able to bring this great tradition to Tucson and Pima County for the 2nd year is disappointing,” read the announcement. “Like many others in our industry, the financial impact negatively affects the Southwestern Fair Commission, Inc., our valued industry partners, and our community.”

The fair helps provide jobs for hundreds of workers and donates food for nearly 80,000 meals to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.

In 2022, the Pima County Fair is scheduled for April 21 to May 1.
