New Tap Into Mesa Event Showcases Local Breweries

The Downtown Mesa Association (DMA)  announced Tap Into Mesa, a new brew, Blues, and food festival that will take place on March 12th from 2 – 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Mesa.

Home to the most downtown breweries in the Valley, the free-admission event located at Main and Macdonald in downtown Mesa showcases the very best craft beer selections, foodie and food truck specials to whet attendees’ appetites, live Blues music, fun family activities, and a ticketed optional beer tasting tour of four pop-up craft beer gardens.

“We really want to show people just how many walkable breweries we have in this one square mile,” said Nancy Hormann, President of the Downtown Mesa Association. “All of the breweries you will visit at this event call Downtown Mesa their home.”

The Main Stage Beer Garden offers full pours from downtown Mesa breweries. Live Blues music performances feature The Sugar Thieves, with a sultry Blues roots foundation and powerhouse Delta sound; and, the Bob Corritore Chicago Style Blues Band, a top traditional Blues band featuring Corritore’s sympathetic yet fiery harmonica playing.

Admission to Main Stage Beer Garden events is free. Tickets are for sale for full pours and for a special beer tasting tour. Tasting and full pour ticket purchases are optional. A general tasting ticket is $25 and includes ten tastes. Add on a VIP Fast Pass for $5 to receive no-line and reserved seat services in the four tasting beer gardens (advance online sales only).

Pre-purchase tickets here or purchase them on-site up until 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event. Tasting tickets must be redeemed by 6:30 p.m.
