Police Find 3 Bodies in Vacant Lot in South Phoenix

A homicide investigation is underway after Phoenix police found three bodies in a vacant lot in southwest Phoenix.

Around about 1:35 p.m. on Sunday, Phoenix police responded to a call to the Phoenix’s Estrella Village neighborhood of 99th Avenue and Mobile Lane, for reports of an injured person.

Phoenix officers found the remains of three men on the scene with obvious signs of trauma.


Homicide detectives responded and began their investigation, questioning witnesses and processed the crime scene.

The Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the victim identities the cause of death.
