Man Arrested For Murdering Ex-Girlfriend’s New Boyfriend

Phoenix police have arrested a man who they believe killed his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend at a Phoenix apartment complex.

On Monday around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to an apartment complex near Seventh Street and Thomas Road after receiving a call over concern for a missing person.

Upon arriving to the scene, police spoke with the concerned caller who hadn’t seen or talked to their friend, 25-year-old Harry Doan, who was reportedly staying nearby.

Officers went to the residence where they were told Doan was staying. Upon entering, police found Doan with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Upon an investigation, detectives learned that Doan was in a relationship with a woman whose ex-boyfriend,

Reports state that he admitted to the homicide during questioning. He was booked into Maricopa County Jail on multiple counts, including first-degree murder, burglary and kidnapping.
