Lori Vallow Daybell Enters Plea Of ‘Not Guilty’ In Arizona Court

The woman, given a life sentence in an Idaho prison for taking the life of her two youngest children and another woman, has pleaded her innocence in the Arizona case of conspiring to killing her former husband and her niece’s ex-husband.

On Thursday in a Phoenix court, Lori Vallow Daybell appeared in an orange jail uniform and provided her name and date of birth in compliance with the judge’s request during a five-minute arraignment. The trial is scheduled for April 4th.

At the conclusion of the hearing, Keith Terry, the attorney for Vallow Daybell, refused to provide any comment on behalf of his client.

In 2019, Vallow Daybell resided in the valley with her two children, Joshua “JJ” Vallow (age 7) and Tylee Ryan (age 16). She had separated from her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, and in divorce documents, he stated that she declared to be a divine being sent to bring about the Biblical end of days.

During the summer of that year, Alex Cox, the brother of Vallow Daybell, shot and killed Charles Vallow. Cox declared he was acting in self-defense and was not brought to trial as a result. Later that year Alex Cox passed away and authorities ruled his death was due to natural causes.

Shortly after Charles Vallow passed away, Lori Vallow Daybell and her children relocated to Idaho. According to prosecutors, she moved states to be closer to her new love interest, Chad Daybell, whose wife suddenly passed away shortly after Lori’s arrival to Idado.

Chad Daybell has been accused of the deaths of Lori’s two children and his late wife. His legal plea is not guilty and the case is pending a trial.

This case has made national news for over 4 years now. Lori is facing two murder conspiracy charges in Arizona.
