City of Surprise Offers Free Holiday Lights Display For All To Enjoy

This month, the Surprise Community Park in Arizona’s northwest part of the valley is radiating an extra special vibe!

This year to celebrate the holidays, the City of Surprise, has lit up a community park covering 25 acres that includes over 200,000 lights plus a new dancing tree display that features 18,000 bulbs.

The lights are an excellent way for residents in the Valley to journey out to the city of Surprise to make lasting memories with their families and enjoy the magical experience of thousands of lights and trees adorned with a stunning colors.


Families can enjoy a leisurely walk through Surprise Community Park, adorned with decorations, taking in the delightful experience.

If You Go

  • The lights will be on display every night from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. until January 2, 2024.
  • You can find the light display stretching from the Surprise Recreation Campus up to the Surprise Community Park and outside the Surprise Stadium at 15960 N. Bullard Ave.
  • Bullard Avenue will be shut off from Paradise to Tierra Buena lanes until January 3, 2024.
  • Admission is free.
