Gilbert’s Perry Puma Drive Renamed To Brock Purdy Way in Honor of 49ers’ Quarterback

Brock Purdy, a native of Queen Creek, has been chosen as the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers in this Sunday’s Super Bowl. In anticipation of his performance, Purdy’s former high school has made a special gesture to demonstrate their support. For the next month, the road formerly known as Perry Puma Drive will now bear the name of Brock Purdy Way.

According to Heather Patterson, principal of Perry High School, the bonds and connections that were established during his time as a student are still enduring. It is the ultimate gesture to show Purdy his alma mater and the community is rooting for him.

As soon as Purdy’s Niners finished their impressive comeback against the Packers in the initial playoff round, Patterson reveals that individuals at Perry and in the entire town of Gilbert began devising various methods to demonstrate to Purdy that he is truly special in this community.

According to Patterson, the recently installed street signs will stay in place for approximately one month before being removed. However, there are additional plans in progress to honor Purdy’s achievements.
