One of the first theme parks to be developed in Arizona will be opening in the west valley next year, creating jobs, new experiences for residents and growing the Glendale economy in their sports and entertainment district.

Epic Resort Destinations will open their first-ever Mattel Adventure Park in 2023 featuring new rides with themed brands such as Hot Wheels, Barbie, Masters of the Universe, Mattel Games and Thomas & Friends for the wee little ones.

The park will be indoors to capitalize on continued attendance during the hot summer months and will sits on nine acres. Conveniently located off of the Loop 101, just north of I-10, the 161,000 square feet of air-conditioned space will be adjacent to the VAI Resort south of the State Farm Stadium. Developers have released details on attractions which will include mini golf, go-karts, a Barbie Dream House, Hot Wheels roller coaster and Thomas & Friends electric train.

Guests who choose to dine at Barbie Beach House can choose from a selection of signature pink beverages, sweet and savory snacks, and experience panoramic views from the rooftop restaurant.

The park will also house a fabulous themed party zones that will set the stage for the ultimate Barbie, Hot Wheels, or Thomas & Friends birthday party themed experience.
