The event will benefit Phoenix families, children, and pets who are experiencing homelessness
Family Promise of Greater Phoenix, a nonprofit organization that serves families with children who are currently homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness, is hosting its annual Wines Around the World event on Thursday, March 21st from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at The Clayton House in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Wines Around the World, an event that benefits families experiencing homelessness, is a chance to taste different wines from across the globe while providing support for those who need it most.
“Wines Around the World is an important and tasteful event that benefits many families who need support,” said Ted Taylor, Chief Executive Officer at Family Promise of Greater Phoenix. “Events like these help ensure Family Promise has the resources it needs to effectively support these families and get them back on their funds raised will aid in providing services like case management and maintaining home-like facilities stocked with daily necessities.
During this event, participants can expect to enjoy delicious wine from Europe and the United States, a flavorful dinner, musical entertainment, a wine pull – a drawing for bottles of wine, a silent auction, and live auction, and a donation ask opportunity led by locally acclaimed auctioneer Letitia Frye.
“Our goal is to end family homelessness by helping families find permanent housing and self-sustainability. The community’s support for our events helps us reach that goal and support more families and their pets,” added Taylor.
Family Promise of Greater Phoenix aims to secure a sustainable and financially sound future for families experiencing homelessness – an issue that has grown 219% over the past three years in the Phoenix Metro area. Family Promise served families from more than 17 Valley cities last year. Funds received from Wines Around the World support Family Promise’s efforts to develop the infrastructure and support necessary to impact the lives of more children and families in poverty or homelessness.
