Dexter Deshon Leroy Greye

A man from Phoenix was taken into custody on Wednesday for allegedly committing sexual assault against a woman in Chandler, in an incident that took place earlier this month.

According to a statement from the Chandler Police Department, Dexter Deshon Leroy Greyer has been charged with assaulting a victim in the area of Warner and Dobson roads on the morning of January 5th.

Authorities reportedly took the suspect into custody at his residence following a police investigation that linked him to the attack.

It was not apparent that Greyer and the victim were acquainted before the attack occurred.

Four charges of sexual assault, three charges of kidnapping, one charge of sexual abuse, and one charge of criminal damage were brought against Greyer.

Upon being apprehended, Greyer was found to have several outstanding warrants on other charges.

Police were not able to provide any additional information on the case.
