Loop 101 Closed Friday Morning After Three-Vehicle Crash Kills Passenger

Arizona Dept. of Public Safety has shut down the westbound Loop 101 in Glendale after a deadly crash in morning rush hour traffic.

Authorities report that at least one person is dead in the three-vehicle collision near the 67th Avenue exit early Friday morning. No additional details have been released at this time or how many others were hurt in the collision.

If you have plans to travel in the area, it is important to note that all westbound traffic is being forced to exit at 59th Avenue, and DPS has not provided an estimated time that the lanes of the freeway will reopen.
