Widespread Cellphone Outage Ompacts AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile Customers Nationwide

As of early Thursday morning, AT&T subscribers have experienced disruptions this morning in their household landline, internet, and cellular services.

According to a chart displayed on the outage tracking website, the disruptions began appearing at approximately 3:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

According to AT&T there are currently disruptions in wireless service for certain customers. Immediate efforts are being made to resolve the issue and restore service. In the meantime, the use of Wi-Fi calling is recommended until service is back up and running.


As of 8 a.m. ET, it was reported there were outages from over 71,000 AT&T users.

The majority of affected customers are located in the southern and southeastern regions of the United States, according to reports.

In addition, there has been a significant increase in reported T-Mobile outages at approximately 4 a.m. ET. However, a T-Mobile has reported that their network is functioning normally and no outages were recorded.

According to Verizon, individuals are facing difficulties in reaching out to individuals who use AT&T service. In a formal statement released from Verizon, they state the Verizon’s network is functioning normally. However, there were some reported problems this morning for customers when communicating with those who are served by a different carrier. The situation is still being monitored.
