Tucson and Phoenix Rank Among the Worst Drivers in the Nation

Forbes has released a report that has Arizona among the highest of poor drivers compared to other states in the United States.

According to a Forbes report, the most recent analysis was conducted using information from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the U.S. Census Bureau.

Albuquerque, New Mexico ranked highest on the list for drivers, followed by Tucson at #4. Slightly lower on the list was Phoenix, coming in at #8.


As per the analysis, Tucson was placed fourth in terms of the overall count of fatal accidents and the fatalities caused by them. Moreover, it stood sixth in the list for the number of deadly accidents caused by speeding and tenth for those involving drunk or distracted drivers.

Phoenix ranks 10th among cities with the most fatal accidents caused by speeding, and ranks 11th for the overall number of fatal accidents and fatalities resulting from accidents.
