A student riding on a school bus in Phoenix was shot with a BB gun Thursday Afternoon.

Phoenix police are investigating the incident that happened near 28th Drive and Cactus Road around 4 p.m.

A student who as shot with a BB gun did not require transportation to a hospital. Details have not yet been released as to which school the student attends.

Police are still working to determine the details of the case and those involved in the incident. At this point details have not been released if any students will face charges.
