Queen Creek Police To Seek Charges Against Seven People in 16-Year-Old’s Death

The Queen Creek PD has made seven arrests in the October death of 16-year-old Preston Lord. The list of suspects includes adults and minors.

Police from the Queen Creek area declared progress in the long-running inquiry into the fatal assault of 16-year-old Preston Lord that occurred exactly two months ago.

Police reported that a group of teens identified as “the Gilbert Goons” attacked a person at a Halloween party on Oct. 28, sending him to the hospital. Unfortunately, the young victim passed away two days later due to the injuries sustained.

The department declared that charges had been brought against seven people, comprising both adults and minors, on Thursday. At present time, law enforcement authorities withheld the identities of the individuals involved.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is examining the charges that were presented. Although the charges have been presented, the inquiry is still ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
