Police Arrest 2 Individuals For Possession of Drugs in Lake Havasu City Home with Child Present

Law enforcement officials arrested two individuals following the discovery of access to illegal drugs to a smallchild at a home in Lake Havasu City last week.

The Special Investigations Unit of Lake Havasu City Police Department launched an investigation into individuals who were reportedly selling large quantities of methamphetamine in the city. On March 27, a search warrant was executed by law enforcement at a residence on Interlake Drive, located off of State Route 95. The search resulted in the discovery of 8 ounces of meth.

According to authorities, a young child had access to illegal drugs inside the residence. Following the search, 42-year-old Alberto Vasquez and 40-year-old Tiffany Ayala were apprehended by the police.


Vasquez and Ayala have been charged with possession of dangerous drugs for the purpose of sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child abuse. They are currently in custody with a bond set at $50,000.Â
