Phoenix Police are reporting that a pedestrian was killed in Phoenix in a hit-and-run incident.
In the early morning hours on Monday, Phoenix Police Department law enforcement officials were dispatched to the area of 27th Avenue and Osborn Road due to a report of a person who had sustained injuries.
According to the police, Summer Olheiser, 23 years old, was found in the road with severe injuries upon their arrival. Sadly, she was declared deceased at the scene.
In a statement released by Sgt. Robert Scherer details the injuries sustained by Olheiser were in line with those caused by a vehicle impact.
Police are still conducting an investigation into the situation and have not released any additional information..
