Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies found a missing man shot and two bodies in a home search.
Authorities said the home search was in correlation to the disappearance of a West Valley father and adult Chad and Dalton Holvig. On July 10, Dalton was reported missing from his Goodyear home. Chad was reported missing the following day.
Sheriff officers reported that the man found in the home with gunshot wounds has been identified as Dalton. Dalton Holvig is recovering now from two or three gunshot wounds. He hadn’t received medical treatment for the gunshot wounds until after he was found. MCSO Sheriff Penzone said in a statement that he was being kept there against his will.
Chad Holvig, 51, is still missing.
The two bodies officers found during the search have not yet been identified, though they do not to believe either are Chad.
Officers arrested two residents at the property. They were booked on charges unrelated to the discovery of the two dead bodies. Police found multiple weapons and other evidence during the home search.
Details on the location of the property where the bodies were found have not been released or what lead to the death of the two bodies discovered.
MCSO has not provided any additional information on the investigation. The search to locate Chad continues. Police are asking if you know any details in the case or the whereabouts of Chad Holvig to please call authorities.
