Mesa Teacher Aide Arrested For Alleged Sexual Abuse Of A 9-Year-Old Girl

A Mesa elementary school teacher’s aide has been arrested for allegedly sexual abusing a 9-year-old girl  multiple times on campus.

The Mesa Police Department reported that Antonio Jordan, 28, was booked Wednesday into Fourth Avenue Jail on three counts of sexual abuse.

On Tuesday, Mesa Police were called to Lehi Elementary School at Stapley Drive, south of the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway for reports of a sexual abuse.

The girl reported to school administrators that Jordan instructed her to stay after class and that he touched her chest under her shirt.

When officers interviewed Jordan, he reportedly told them he had a “stethoscope fetish,” and that he chose the victim because of her interest in the stethoscope that he brought to the school.

In even further disturbing reports, investigators discovered three separate videos on Jordan’s phone that recorded him abusing the victim. In the videos he is seen using the stethoscope, as well as his hands, in the classroom, while he is alone with the child on three occasions.

During the interview Jordan admitted to recording the abuse for his own library and did not intend to share the footage on the internet. Detectives seized that cell phone after the interview.

Jordan has been terminated from the school and faces three counts of sexual abuse under 15, a class 3 felony.
