Los Angeles to Require COVID-19 Vaccine For Indoor Sites

If you have travel plans to Los Angeles in the coming weeks, a new mandate will soon be in effect that could impact your experience in California.

The Los Angeles City Council passed an ordinance Wednesday that will require proof of complete vaccination for indoor spaces.

Beginning on November 4th, the new ordinance, which is considered on the country’s strictest vaccine mandates, will be in place.

The new mandate will require anyone entering bars, restaurants, nail salons, gyms, and Los Angeles Lakers games be fully vaccinated.

Mayor Eric Garcetti is expected to sign the ordinance into law.

Anyone who has been granted religious or medical exemptions for vaccinations must provide proof of a negative test 72 hours before entering the establishments.
