Gas Prices Continue to Rise

Arizona is known for low gas prices for years, but now the concept might be changing for the valley resident who have enjoyed low gas prices over the past couple of years. Gas prices have been on a slow, relentless surge and will keep on increasing as Arizona heads into coming summer. According to the AAA Arizona gas prices have jumped to the highest level in the four months, but they’re still their rates is a lot lower than those in California.

In 27 June the average retail gas price has risen to 2.7 cents in Arizona for every gallon in the previous week, averaging $2.23/g yesterday, In Arizona day by day GasBuddy’s review  2,269 gas outlets. This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.4 cents for each gallon in the most recent week to $2.31/g, as indicated by the fuel value site GasBuddy. Including the gas price in Arizona during the previous week, costs yesterday were 47.6 cents for each gallon lower than that the very first moment year prior and are 6.8 cents for every gallon higher than a month back. The national average has reduced 1.3 cents for each gallon during the most recent month and stands 47.2 cents for each gallon lower than a year ago

According to the historical data of GasBuddy, here is the five year record of Arizona gas prices on June 27th. In 2011, June 27 the price was $3.45/g, 3.46/g gas price in 2013, $3.48/g in 2013, 3.55/g price in 2014 and it decreased in 2015 which in 2.71/g. As the prices of the gas reaching the highest level and most of the motorists are unaware of the breakdown of a gallon of gas becoming increasingly frustrated with the latest spike in fuel costs.


But still we are hopeful Arizona prices will not continue this upward trend for a long time and prices will remain lower than the other countries.
