Female Suspect Arrested In Deadly Shooting At Phoenix Apartment Complex

A female was taken into custody on Monday for allegedly murdering a male at a Phoenix apartment complex last week.

Tiana Hodges, 22, was arrested and taken to Fourth Avenue Jail for the charge of second-degree murder.


According to the Phoenix Police Department, at approximately 9:30 a.m. on February 19, officers were called to an apartment complex near Seventh and Hatcher streets in response to a reported altercation.

Upon their arrival, a male in his thirties was discovered on the floor with a bullet wound. He was transported to a hospital where he passed away. The individual’s identity has not been released.

During the investigation, law enforcement officials obtained sufficient evidence to apprehend Hodges.
