Lottery officials are alerting Arizona residents to check your tickets! Though no one managed to snag the grand prize, several people have walked away with wins from recent Powerball games, including one person who won a whopping $1 million!

On Saturday, Dec. 23, Arizona Lottery officials confirmed that a ticket bought at a Queen Creek Safeway was worth $1 million and another ticket purchased at a Tucson Circle K won a $50,000 prize in the same drawing.

The numbers drawn were 9, 14, 17, 18, 53, with the additional number 6 for the Powerball number.

On Monday, December 25th, two lottery tickets were sold with a jackpot of $50,000 apiece. The tickets were purchased from a Goodyear QuikTrip and the Chicago Bar in Tucson.

Monday’s lottery numbers were 5, 12, 20, 24, 29, with the Powerball of 4.

It is estimated that the Powerball jackpot has increased to an astounding $685 million, carrying a cash value of $344.7 million!
