Authorities Searching For Missing Boy and His Father Who is Accused of Assaulting Child’s Mother in Phoenix

Officials in Phoenix are asking the public for help in locating a young boy who was last spotted with his father on Wednesday following an alleged attack on the child’s mother.

On Thursday, an advisory was released for Israel Maldonado, who is missing and endangered and was last spotted in the vicinity of 99th Avenue and Camelback Road, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

According to the police, a 27-year-old man named Emmanuel Maldonado took his son, Israel, 7, and left the vicinity after reportedly attacking his wife and displaying a firearm.

The man was spotted driving a 2015 Nissan Quest van in a dark grey color, with the license plate number CGY2639 from Washington.

Israel is described as 4 feet and 11 inches, weighs 55 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

According to authorities, the child’s father is 5 feet and 10 inches, and weighs approximately 215 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and there is a possibility that he may be carrying a handgun.
