The tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree in Arizona made its grand entrance on Friday, November 3rd, at 6:30 am, marking the official start of the holiday season at Outlets North Phoenix!
The tree arrived to the mall with an escort by Daisy Mountain Firefighters and the jolly company of Santa himself and was hoisted into place by an industrial crane.
The tree is said to be 70 feet tall and 20 feet wide, coming to the valley of the sun from the Northern California/Oregon border
Following the tree’s arrival, the meticulous process of re-branching and decorating will begin, a skilled effort that will span approximately two weeks. The tree is expected to be decorated with thousands of lights and ornaments, as well as a three-foot copper star
Everyone is invited to stop by and witness this fascinating decorating process. And also mark your calendars for the official tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. The event will be a family-friendly event with live music and fun holiday activities.
The Outlets North Phoenix will also have the big guy himself from Nov. 16 to Dec. 24 for families to share their wish list and get photos with Santa Claus at Santa’s Cottage, located near the food court.
If your pooch wants a chance to see if they are on the naughty or nice list, on Mondays, you can bring your cats and dogs to get photos with “Santa Paws.”
Make photo op reservations and see the schedule here.
