The grand opening date for the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games entertainment center in Chandler has been announced.
The grand opening of Andretti Chandler, situated near the Loop 202 on Cooper Road, will be marked with a celebration on Feb. 28 that includes unique prizes and giveaways.
To take advantage of the giveaways, simply be among the initial 50 attendees on the opening day of Wednesday. The first 50 guests will be gifted with an Andretti-branded Yeti tumbler, featuring a “special surprise” and the Andretti logo.
After its successful opening, Andretti is hosting a raffle on March 2 for its first 100 guests. The lucky winner will receive a free birthday party at Andretti worth up to $500. Additionally, 10 out of the 100 guests will also be awarded with a year of free arcade play.
One of the main highlights of the venue is a multi-level, high-speed track for electric go-karts, providing guests with the opportunity to showcase their racing abilities.
The city of Phoenix is renowned for its rich racing heritage. For the past five years, the NASCAR season has concluded with a final race at Avondale’s Phoenix Raceway.
There are numerous other choices available for entertainment within the building. The design plans for the East Valley site include a “state-of-the-art” arcade, a laser tag arena, bowling lanes, and a motion theater.
The 95,000-square-foot location offers a variety of gaming choices that revolve mainly around virtual and augmented reality.
The area will also include a dining establishment serving American-inspired dishes such as brick-oven pizza and other smoked favorites cooked on a XXL Big Green Egg.
The establishment will feature a complete bar, serving local beers and artisanal cocktails.
In January, Andretti Chandler organized a recruitment event with the aim of filling 300 vacancies. They also announced plans to open new locations in Kansas and Texas, which could lead to the creation of around 1,800 job opportunities within the next year.
