Just two years after making the chain’s debut in the valley, Aldi grocery store announced the grand opening of their 2nd store in Phoenix.
The new store located at 14th Street and Bell Road will be the ninth store to open in metro Phoenix. The new store will celebrate with a grand opening on Thursday, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 7:55 a.m.
“We have served this community for more than two years and are excited to continue to offer Arizona residents an affordable way of shopping,” Tom Cindel, an executive with the company, said in a recent press release.
The store hours are daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Shoppers can place order online via Instacart and curbside pickup and delivery are available.
In celebration of the new store opening, shoppers can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card.
Aldi has announced plans to launch 150 stores by the end of the year. Supermarket News ranks Aldi the third-biggest chain in America with 2,070 stores, behind Kroger with 2,742 and Albertson’s 2,277.
The first Aldi grocery store opened in the Valley in 2020. There are stores in Buckeye, Chandler, Gilbert, Goodyear, Mesa, Peoria and Queen Creek.
