Accident On Ford Dealership Lot Kills Owner’s Son

The son of a valley automotive business died Sunday in an accident on the Sanderson Ford dealership lot.

According to police, Andrew Kimmerle, business manager at the Sanderson Ford dealership at Grand and Maryland, was riding an electric scooter at a high rate of speed around the lot when he ran into an employee driving a pickup truck.

Kimmerle was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.


Kimmerle is the son of Dave Kimmerle, the president of Sanderson Ford. Andrew Kimmerle is survived by his wife Megan and their four boys.
