22-Year-Old Gilbert Man Arrested In Sex With Minors, Drug-Related Crimes

Police have arrested a Gilbert man on felony charges for allegedly having sex with two underage girls and committing drug-related crimes.

Tyler Strocchia, 22, was arrested on Tuesday and booked into Maricopa County jail on multiple counts, including sexual conduct with a minor and possessing marijuana and narcotics for sale.


Strocchia was denied bond due to the face he already was on felony release.

Gilbert Police Department said that Strocchia was already the subject of three criminal investigations before his most recent arrest.

According to court documents, on Jan. 11 police received a call from a woman who found evidence of a relationship between Strocchia and her 15-year-old daughter.

During the investigation, detectives found evidence of a prior relationship between Strocchia and a girl who was 16 at the time.

In addition, police was already investigating Strocchia for allegedly using social media to market marijuana, alcohol and nicotine vapes to high school students.

in October 2023, an undercover detective contact Strocchia online in an attempt to set up a marijuana purchase.

According to the probable cause statement, after Strocchia no showed for several arranged meet ups, he reportedly sold an undercover detective 28 grams of marijuana for $155 in Scottsdale on Jan. 11.

On Tuesday, Gilbert police served a search warrant at Strocchia’s home and took him into custody without incident.

During their search, detectives found drugs and paraphernalia, including a scale that is used to weigh and package drugs for sale. In addition, they found nearly $20,000 in cash. The money discovered included the marked currency from the undercover transaction.
