Spring Baseball is Soon to Return to Phoenix

After a long offseason following one of the most entertaining World Series matches in history, baseball is set to arrive in Phoenix very soon.

This annual two months of baseball is one of the most exciting and attractive events to happen in Phoenix. Each season, millions of people visit the Valley to watch their favorite teams play.

For those of you who don’t know, the Phoenix metropolitan area is home to the Cactus League during spring training. From February 23 to March 27, 15 Major League Baseball teams including the Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Royals, and Los Angeles Dodgers come to the Valley for Spring Training.

Single-game tickets are already on sale for some teams. Individuals are able to visit team websites for information regarding ticket purchases.

Phoenix residents wanting to see the Cubs, Diamondbacks, and Rockies play are able to purchase tickets on January 6. For Dodgers and White Sox fans, tickets start selling January 5.

This year, Camelback Ranch in Glendale, home to the Dodgers and White Sox, will debut two major stadium improvements to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The improvements are a new video board and two new shade structures along the first-base concourse.

New residents of the Phoenix Metropolitan area should know they don’t have to travel as far as Glendale to watch a Spring Training game. Stadiums are scattered across the Valley, from Surprise to Mesa.

Get ready, baseball fans. Spring training is around the corner.
