A man has been arrested and accused of 14 different robberies at the three Nike stores, resulting in the theft of nearly 100 pairs of Nike shoes.

According to police reports, Dequayl Montgomery-Terrell is accused of entering Nike stores at Desert Ridge Marketplace, Tanger Outlets, and Phoenix Premium Outlets on at least 14 occasions.

Each time, Montgomery-Terrell would walk out of the store with at least one pair of Nike shoes without paying. The majority of the pairs stolen were Nike Air Max shoes, which are usually valued at around $100 per pair.

The total amount of shoes stolen are estimated to cost more than $13,000 in total.

Montgomery-Terrell was identified as the main suspect in the thefts after police reviewed store surveillance video. Police also had access to surveillance video at local pawn shops where footage showed Montgomery-Terrell selling several of the pairs of shoes.

Police reports detailed that they were able to track Montgomery-Terrell to a home where they found at least 20 pairs of Nike shoes hidden under a porch.

Montgomery-Terrell faces 14 counts of retail theft and one count of trafficking stolen property.
