Chandler police have arrested a juvenile who is accused of shooting two people in Chandler last week.

On Friday, September 15th, Chandler police responded to the area of McQueen Road and Chandler Boulevard where they found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his leg. In addition, a second juvenile shooting victim was later identified.

Both victims were transported to a hospital  where they were treated for their injuries and released.

An investigation identified a juvenile male suspect, who was arrested Sunday, September 17th on aggravated assault and weapons charges. Police did not release the name and age of the suspect.

The investigation will be turned over to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for prosecutorial review. No additional information has been released.
