One person has been hospitalized after a Peoria shooting at a Circle K in the Vistancia community in the far Northwest part of the valley. Police are searching for the victim’s stolen vehicle.

One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after the shooting that occurred near El Mirage Road and Vistancia Boulevard Sunday evening around 5:30 p.m.

The shooter fled the scene before officers arrived. Police believe everyone involved in the shooting knew one another and it is believed that the shooter stole the victim’s vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a dark blue 2008 Toyota Sequoia with an Arizona license plate reading CNY7086.

This shooting is currently under investigation and are asking the community if they see the vehicle to call 911.
