Feeling lucky? West valley residents have a new casino to roll the dice on their luck. Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment will open its doors on their new venue on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

The 1.2 million square-foot facility known as Desert Diamond Casino West Valley is located near Northern and 91st avenues in Glendale. The new casino replaces the temporary casino that began operations in December of 2015.

Casino Patrons will have over 1,100 slot machines, 36 poker tables, 48 blackjack tables, five dining options to enjoy. The casino will also feature a VIP lounge, and more.

A ribbon cutting ceremony for tribal members and dignitaries will take place in the morning and feature remarks from Tohono O’odham Nation leaders.

The casino opens in a popular area of the west valley. Gila River Arena, home to the Arizona Coyotes, is about one mile south from the casino.
