Luke Bryan to Come to Phoenix on Tour

American country music star and songwriter Luke Bryan will play at Phoenix’s Ak-Chin Pavilion Thursday, September 22, 2016 as part of his Kill the Lights tour. The tour is in promotion of his same album Kill the Lights, Bryan’s fifth studio album which was released August of 2015. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

This will be the fifth record by the Georgia native and his fourth headlining tour over the course of his roughly decade-long career. Bryan began his career in the mid-2000s originally writing songs for high school friends and performers Travis Tritt and Billy Currington. After signing with a record company in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007 he released his first album I’ll Stay Me. To date, Bryan has sold over 7 million albums and 27 million singles worldwide and has won awards from the Academy of Country Music Awards, the CMT music awards, the Country Music Association Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and more.

Bryan’s Kill the Lights tour began in February and has been across the United States and Canada. Opening for Bryan at his Phoenix date will be bands Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch. Little Big Town is a four-member country music group since 1998. Dustin Lynch is an American country singer and songwriter. Playing with Luke Bryan on this tour are band leader and electric guitar player Michael Carter, acoustic guitar and piano player Jason Faussett, bass guitarist James Cook, drummer Kent Slucher, fiddle and electric guitar player Kevin Arrowsmith, and banjoy player Dave Ristrum.
