Country Concert ‘Boots in the Park’ Coming This Weekend To Tempe

The country concert series “Boots in the Park” makes a stop in Tempe this weekend, bringing some popular music artist for two day concert event.

The concert event will run Saturday September 22nd and Sunday, September 23rd from 4 p.m. to midnight at Tempe Beach Park.

The tour will bring a long list of successful country singers including Blake Shelton, Sam Hunt, Brooks & Dunn, Dustin Lynch, Luwiss Lux, Scotty McCreery, Leaving Austin, Tyler Hubbard, Rodney Atkins, Ingrid Andress and Ashland Craft.


The event will also host line dancing, beer and cocktails, food vendors and art installations at the event.

Tickets are available and can be purchased online.

The two day event will prompt minor street closures and restrictions near the event in Tempe the entire weekend.

Closures will go into effect 7 a.m. Friday. The first closure includes eastbound Rio Salado Parkway, between Hardy Drive and Mill Avenue. Westbound Rio Salado Parkway will also be closed between Mill Avenue and Lakseside Drive.

In addition, southbound Mill Avenue will be closed between Curry Road and Rio Salado Parkway. Northbound Ash Avenue will also be closed at Third Street, and eastbound First Street will be closed at Rio Salado Parkway.

Concert organizers are encouraging attendees to consider taking alternative modes of transportation to the event. Parking will not be included with a general admission ticket, While there will be multiple public parking lots that accept payment for parking, it is advised to consider using the light rail. There are light rail connections at McClintock Road and Apache Boulevard, as well as on Price Road and Apache Boulevard.
