Cave Creek Museum’s Kiwanis Family Friends Day presents “Stick & Pricks & Bones, Oh My!”

Kiwanis Family Friends Day in conjunction with Cave Creek Museum present “Sticks & Pricks & Bones, Oh My!” on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 2-4 PM at Cave Creek Museum.

“Learn how to safely touch desert plants that jab and stick you,“ says Evelyn Johnson, executive director for the museum. “Find out why they have such scrubby skins. Explore skeletons and skulls. Understand predators and prey. Examine the beautiful rocks from the desert and touch artifacts left behind by those who were here long before we arrived.”

During the “Stick & Pricks & Bones, Oh My!” event, Desert Awareness Committee will be at the museum to present these interesting and educational topics.

Reservations are encouraged. This event is free thanks to the generous support of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree.
