On Wednesday, an Arizona man was taken into custody in Phoenix  when his residence was searched and firearms as well as numerous fentanyl pills were discovered.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Adam Sosa-Krenn, a 45-year resident of Prescott, has been arrested and charged with eight felonies, which include three counts associated with the distribution of illicit substances.

The arrest was made after detectives with the Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT) obtained search warrants for Sosa-Krenn’s residence and car. This action was taken based on information that he was involved in fentanyl trafficking from his residence in Chino Valley, Cottonwood, and Sedona.

According to YCSO, Sosa-Krenn was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic violation and a rifle was discovered in his car. It was reported that he is not allowed to possess firearms.

During the investigation of his residence, detectives discovered a safe containing approximately 2,000 fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, multiple pounds of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, liquid codeine, and additional firearms.

Sheriff David Rhodes stated in a press release that the recent apprehension demonstrates the dedication of their PANT investigators to removing drug traffickers from our neighborhoods and protecting the well-being of our communities.
