Where to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is coming up and bars and restaurants are busy prepping for the parties and festivals all around the valley.

The holiday celebrates the Mexican army’s defeat of France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. It is often incorrectly associated with Mexico’s independence, which is actually celebrated in the month of September.

If you are looking for a tasty margarita and a great place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, here is a list of several festivals and restaurant block parties happening around town.
