What Is Phoenix’s Most Popular Neighborhood?

What’s the most in-demand neighborhood in Phoenix? Camelback East, according to an analysis by a popular real estate company.

Zillow ranked Phoenix neighborhoods based on pageviews per real estate listing on their website from Jan. 1 to March 31. Camelback East led Phoenix-area neighborhoods with 1,987 listing views, according to the online real estate marketplace. The median list price in Camelback East was $434,999.

Coming in as a close second was Ahwatukee Foothills with 1,923 list views and a median list price of $349,900. The only other neighborhood in Phoenix to break 1,900 listing views was Paradise Valley, at 1,909 views.


The remaining of the top-10 Phoenix neighborhoods were Encanto (1,852 page views per listing), Central City (1,784), North Gateway (1,757), Deer Valley (1,650), South Mountain (1,622), Laveen (1,617) and Rio Vista (1,562).

Thirteen of the most popular neighborhoods in the country are in California, according to Zillow. None of the most popular neighborhoods by Zillows measurements are in Phoenix.

The most popular neighborhood was The Oaks in Calabasas, a Las Angeles suburb that’s popular with celebrities including the Kardashians. The Oaks had nearly 13,000 list views and a median list price of $3.7 million.
