Visit the Arizona Renaissance Festival

Take a journey back to Medieval times at the Arizona Renaissance Festival where you will be transported to a town out of the 16th century. 2017 marks the 29th year this unique festival has been entertaining the Valley; featuring an amusement park, a 13-stage theatre, a 30-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, and a jousting tournament in a 5,000 seat arena there is sure to be all-day fun for the whole family. 

Not to mention the fire juggling or the savory food choices from steak-on-a-stake, giant roasted turkey legs, and hand-made chocolates that Arizonans crave annually. The artisan marketplace features over 200 shops selling everything from hand-blown glass to leather goods to jewelry, with some artisans performing their craft live.

The festival is only open on Saturdays and Sundays February 11 – April 2, 2017 from 10am to 6pm rain or shine. Pets are not allowed and parking is free. The event is located east of Apache Junction at 12601 East Highway 60 in Gold Canyon, AZ 85118. Tickets are $22 for adults and $10 for children (5 and under is free).
