PHOENIX — A homicide investigation is underway after the bodies of two teenagers were discovered off State Route 87 earlier this week, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) confirmed.
Deputies found 18-year-old Pandora Kjolsrud and an unnamed 17-year-old early Tuesday morning at a campsite near Mount Ord in the Tonto National Forest, roughly halfway between Mesa and Payson.
MCSO is working with multiple law enforcement agencies to determine what happened.
