Two people were hospitalized after a shooting broke out late Saturday night at a Tolleson bar, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).
Deputies were called to the Long Branch Saloon, located near 107th Avenue and Buckeye Road, shortly after 11 p.m. following reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found one individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to recover.
A short time later, Glendale police notified MCSO that a second person had arrived at a hospital with a similar injury, believed to be connected to the same incident. Both victims sustained non-life-threatening wounds, officials confirmed.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, and investigators have not released any information about possible suspects or motives. Authorities continue to review evidence and witness statements to determine what sparked the violence.
Anyone with information related to the incident is urged to contact the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office as the investigation continues.
