Two Hospitalized After Vehicle Crashes Into Phoenix Home

A woman was critically injured and a man was hospitalized after a vehicle slammed into a residential property Saturday evening.

Two people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into the exterior wall of a Phoenix home on Saturday night, authorities said.

The collision occurred just before 8 p.m. near Northern Avenue and 10th Avenue. When crews from the Phoenix Fire Department arrived, they found a vehicle had struck a brick wall of a residence.

Officials said no one inside the home was injured during the crash. Firefighters were able to access the occupants without performing an extrication, indicating they were not trapped inside the vehicle.

A woman involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. A man was also taken to the hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

The circumstances leading up to the collision have not been released. The Phoenix Police Department assumed control of the scene and is investigating the cause of the crash.

Authorities have not announced whether speed, impairment, or other factors may have contributed to the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
