Phoenix, AZ – Two individuals were fatally shot outside a West Valley gas station early Monday morning, according to authorities. The Surprise Police Department confirmed that there are no outstanding suspects and no active threat to the community.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting near Bell Road and Loop 303 around 5 a.m., where they found two individuals with gunshot wounds near a vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crime scene was located outside a QuikTrip gas station on the south side of Bell Road, just west of Loop 303, according to reports from ABC15. Detectives are expected to remain on-site for several hours as they continue their investigation, though there are no traffic restrictions in place.
