Two 19-Year-Olds Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting of Teen in Chandler

Police say the suspects face second-degree homicide charges after a 19-year-old victim was found shot near Warner and McQueen roads.

Chandler police have arrested two 19-year-old suspects in connection with a deadly shooting that left another teen dead Friday night.

Officers responded around 9 p.m. to reports of gunfire near Warner and McQueen roads, where they found 19-year-old Daniel Sublasky suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital but later died from his injuries, authorities said.

Following an investigation, police arrested Mateo Bynum and Tanutamani Richards, both 19, in connection with the killing. The pair were booked on second-degree homicide charges, according to the Chandler Police Department.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released.
