TEMPE, Ariz. — A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure after police say he exposed himself to a woman at a Tempe car wash last month.
According to the Tempe Police Department, the incident happened on the morning of Aug. 2 at the Cobblestone Car Wash near Baseline and Kyrene roads. Investigators say Joshua Curtis parked his vehicle next to the victim’s, called her over, and then exposed his genitals.
The victim immediately left the area and called 911. Detectives later reviewed surveillance footage from the business, which helped them identify Curtis’ license plate. Additional evidence was collected linking him to the case.
Police said Curtis admitted to the behavior when confronted by officers at his home on Aug. 26. He was booked into jail on counts of indecent exposure and public sexual indecency, both classified as class 1 misdemeanors.
