Teenage Boy Kidnapped, Man Shot in Armed Phoenix Home Invasion

Phoenix Police are asking for the publics help in locating a 17-year-old boy after two armed suspects kidnapped the boy overnight after shooting a man in an apparent home invasion.

Officers responded to an unknown trouble call in West Phoenix on Monday around 3:15 a.m. near 91st Avenue and Indian School Road.

During the invasion, an adult male was shot while he was asleep. He has been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.


Jesse Camacho, 17, was then taken by two armed men from inside the home. The suspects left with the victim in a dark-colored sedan in an unknown direction.

Surveillance video captured photos of the alleged suspects, alongside the house. Both suspects could be seen holding long guns.


Camancho remains missing as of Wednesday morning. No arrests have been made and police have not released any additional details.
